Several Charged Following Violence In Downtown Portland

Several people are facing charges after demonstrators took to the streets of downtown Portland in protest against President Biden's inauguration.

Around 150 protesters marched to the Democratic Party of Oregon's Portland headquarters.

They allegedly smashed windows, set fires, and spray-painted anarchy signs.

Protesters said they were demonstrating against both Biden and law enforcement while supporting the rights of indigenous peoples.

Police arrested eight people on various charges.
