A California man tuned Disneyland into the dopiest place on earth by bailing on a popular ride at the midway point -- forcing a shutdown lasting more than a day.
The 20-something man, whose name was not released, forced his way out of his seat on Space Mountain as the roller coaster was making a slow initial climb. He shimmied down the side of the coaster and triggered an alarm that left other park-goers stuck while power was turned off.
Though the visitor was not injured in the incident, he was taken to a hospital for observation -- and the ride was shut down as a precaution. Investigators are trying to determine how he managed to free himself from his harness.
