Last night's episode of "The Simpsons" is the top dog in scripted TV shows.
The episode titled "Forgive and Regret" will be the 636th since the show debuted on Fox in 1989. The animated series surpassed the record of the highest number of scripted episodes for any primetime show was held by "Gunsmoke."
