Investigators tracing the moves of Stephen Paddock in the months leading up to the Las Vegas massacre believe the shooter scouted out several other locations including Boston's Fenway Park.
Authorities say that in addition to booking hotel rooms near Lollapalooza in Chicago in August, Paddock also researched hotels near Fenway Park, the home of the Boston Red Sox. It's not known what dates he was considering, but no rooms were booked and there are no hotels in the area that offer an unobstructed view of the stadium. Paddock is also believed to have considered the Boston Center for the Arts as a potential target.
Investigators are also looking into the possibility that Paddock was planning a car bomb attack since his vehicle was packed with explosive materials and ammunition.
