Pro Golfer Wins Car Then Donates It To Charity

During a big tournament last Friday, pro golfer Jason Day hit a hole-in-one.

It’s exciting any time a golfer hits such a great shot, but this shot was even more special because the tournament sponsor was BMW – and they were giving away a car worth $155,000 to the person who hit the first hole-in-one.

Instead of accepting the prize, Jason decided to donate it to the Evans Scholars Foundation, which provides housing and tuition scholarships to golf course employees across the country.

Because of Jason’s amazing shot and his generosity, someone – or even a number of people – will have help going through college.
