Almonds And Avocados May Make You Smarter

A study conducted at the University of Illinois monitored blood tests and brain scans, and the results found people who ate more monounsaturated fats (found in almonds, avocados, olive oil) have more efficient brain patterns. And yes, on the flip side, low fat diets showed the opposite (which in theory, could hinder intellect).

The study links nutrition to brain function and intelligence. This means that foods like avocados may help you pay attention, study, or even stay focused at work. Eating well isn’t just good for your body, but is also good for your mind.
