It’s kitten season and that means animal shelters need help with all that furry cuteness.
You can volunteer to be a kitten cuddler, to feed them or just play. Volunteers are always needed at shelters, but this time of the year requires a much bigger staff, since the animal population increases dramatically.
What else can you do to help out? How about adopting a pup or kitten of your own? If you aren’t ready for that big step, try fostering an animal in need. Of course, you can always simply donate food and supplies.
One reminder: if you see kittens “in the wild,” leave them with their mothers if at all possible.
