Man Vows to Make a 1.3 Mile-Long Pizza

Fash Asvadi is in the pizza oven business in Los Angeles and he’s vowing to put his expertise to work by baking a 1.3-mile-long pizza to break the world record for world’s longest pizza.

Fash believes his will be the first attempt for this record here in the United States – and he plans to succeed.

He’s already built a special 32-foot trailer with several ovens attached to it that’s going to go over the 1.3 miles of scaffolding that the pizza will be on top of.

An assembly team will assemble the dough, sauce and cheese – and then the oven trailer will roll over the dough like a train and cook the base from one side to the other.

They’ll be attempting to make history at a racetrack on June 10th. If they pull it off, they will have extended the record by 1,000 feet. Stay tuned. (Vice)
