Police said one person was killed, and at least 14 people were shot early Sunday morning, March 26, at a nightclub in the East End.
Lt. Col. Paul Neudigate called it the worst shooting he has seen in over 20 years on the job. Just before 2 a.m., Cincinnati police were called to the Club Cameo nightclub at 4601 Kellogg Ave.
The shootings happened inside the nightclub. Police said that when shots were fired, a large number of people ran out of the building. The victims were transported or drove themselves to area hospitals. Police said multiple victims were being operated on as of 5:00 a.m.
