Snake Caught in Cat's Nose

A cat owner in California knew something was amiss when his kitty stopped meowing and started to hiss.

The black cat, named Marian, was having a sneezing fit, which prompted her owner to take a close look at her nose. That's when he noticed a small snake had somehow slithered inside one nostril.

The owner then pulled the snake, which appeared to be dead, out of Marian's nose, and she appeared to be very relieved. It's not known how the snake got up there, but one theory is that it slid inside as the cat was trying to eat it. (UPI)
