A woman died and a male was injured in a single-car accident east of Mount Victory on Wednesday morning. The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on County Road 245. Martisol Lucila Aquirre-Murillo was pronounced dead at the scene, Jorge Orellana, was taken by LifeFlight to Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima. The crash remains under investigation.
