The National Weather Service is extending a flood warning for Marion County. The NWS updated their warning list yesterday saying the flood stage of the Scioto River was over nine-feet near the village of Prospect. Officials warned the river could rise to ten feet early today causing possible flooding on Highway 203 and Elm Street in Prospect.
The flood warning is now expected to be in effect until late tonight and not expire until early Tuesday morning.
