Hardin County Mom Has Cross Arms Installed Where Her Son Was Hit And Killed

A mother is taking action at the intersection where her son was hit and killed by a train. Two-years-ago Layton Rogers was on his way home from Kenton High School when he crashed into a train on County Road 60, near U.S. Route 68, the second child to die at this railroad crossing since 1993. That's why Layton's mother Laurel campaigned to have mechanical arms put at the intersection. They were installed last week and she says she hopes no other family has to go through what they did.
