Week 12 College Football Playoff Top 25 Rankings Revealed

The Texas Longhorns moved into the top 3 of the College Football Playoff Top 25 rankings for Week 12 of the 2024 season, which were announced during ESPN's live broadcast Tuesday (November 12) night.

The Longhorns defeated Florida, 49-17, in Week 11, while fellow SEC member Georgia dropped to No. 12 following its loss to Ole Miss.

The College Football Playoff expanded from four teams to 12 teams this season with conference champions automatically included in to the field. The four highest-ranked conference champions are seeded Nos. 1-4 and receive first-round byes.

Seven at-large teams will be determined by the remaining highest-ranked teams and seeds 5-8 will host first-round matchups.
