The BookMarks is an organization of volunteers whose purpose is to focus public attention on Marion Public Library’s services, facilities and needs in general. All proceeds from the four-day sale support the programs and initiatives of Marion Public Library.
Since their inception in 2015, they have raised $82,500. Their funds have supported author visits, programs, facility upgrades and more. The book sale, their annual Speaking Volumes Author visit and the ongoing BookMarket have been their biggest fundraisers. If you are interested in volunteering for the BookMarks, stop by the sale, the front desk of the Library or in the BookMarket (when open) and fill out a volunteer form.
Visit MarionOHBookMarks.org for more information on the sale, memberships or when the BookMarket will be open again.
