Patrol’s Trooper Rea promoted to Sergeant at the Marion Post

Columbus – On October 10, Trooper Andrew R. Rea was promoted to the rank of sergeant by Colonel Richard S. Fambro, Patrol superintendent. Sergeant Rea will transfer from his current assignment in the Piqua District Criminal Investigations Unit to serve as an assistant post commander at the Marion Post.

Sergeant Rea began his Patrol career in September 2011 as a member of the 151st Academy Class. He earned his commission in February of the following year and was assigned to the Marysville Post.

Sergeant Rea earned an Associate of Arts degree in criminology from The Ohio State University in 2020.
