Joan Kasotis, Marion County Auditor, reminds home owners that the deadline to file for Board of Revision (BOR) is 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
Owners, who feel the combined value of their land and buildings is different from the appraised value on the auditor’s property cards, may file a BOR form. Forms may be printed from the Auditor’s website www.co.marion.oh.us/auditor or picked up at the Auditor’s office, 222 W. Center St., Marion, Ohio.
Evidence supporting value change should also be included when the form is turned in. This is to show a suggested, new value of their property according to the owner. These will be reviewed for possible adjustment or a formal hearing in the presence of the Board of Revision members.
