The Ohio Department of Health says the state's death total from COVID-19 was underreported by thousands last year. Officials announced yesterday that an error in the system affected death data from October thru December. As many as four-thousand underreported deaths could be added to the state's current total of 11,856.

Wednesday’s COVID-19 update from The Ohio Health Department showed 3,281 new positives, 63 additional deaths, and 227 hospitalizations. Governor DeWine signaled yesterday that the state's 11 p.m. curfew could be lifted next week if hospitalizations continue their downward trend, which have been below two-thousand since February 8th.
