Sheriff’s Office Now Offers Lockout Service

For several years, the Sheriff’s Office has performed lock out services only in emergency situations. That is now changing and that service is being offered to our citizens whom may have accidently locked the keys in their cars.

“It costs nothing to do this for our citizens and we want to help them out whenever possible” Stated Sheriff Matt Bayles.

We do have to prioritize our calls and it may take a while for a deputy to get there to perform the lock out service based on the pending calls, but we do want to offer this service once again to the residents of Marion County.

As has been the policy here before, if an emergency lock out needs to be performed, such as a child locked in a vehicle, that would be a top priority.
