On November 9, 2020 at 4:10 PM Deputies responded to report of a two vehicle injury crash near the intersection of SR 4 and SR 294.
The dispatcher was advised that a pick up truck and motorcycle were involved in the crash and Members of the Dallas and Bucyrus Township Volunteer Fire Departments and Paramedic’s from the Portsmouth Ambulance Service were dispatched as well.
Upon Deputies arrival it was discovered that 64 year old Dean W. Stuckman who resides in Marion, Ohio was traveling South on SR 4 on his black in color 1993 Harley Davidson Electric Glide Classic motorcycle and was truck by a red in color 2018 Chevrolet Silverado that was driven by 74 year old William E. Creswell from Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
Stuckman was flown to the Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio for his injuries and as of 8:45 PM the extent of his injuries are unknown.
Creswell reported that he had no injuries and was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at an intersection. Alcoholic beverages or drugs of abuse are not suspected factors in the crash which remains under investigation and Knect’s Towing removed the motorcycle from the crash scene.
