Shortly before 9 pm on Friday, 8/28/2020, the Bucyrus Police Department received a phone call from a male making threats toward Judges Sean and Shane Leuthold. Later in the shift, the same male called and made unprovoked threats toward police officers; specifically Lt. Walker.
BPD partnered with the Ohio State Highway Patrol Investigative Unit to identify and locate the suspect; Allen R. Henry Jr. (44yoa), at his residence in the 500 block of S. Walnut St. Mr. Henry was taken into custody without incident, and a subsequent search warrant conducted on the residence yielded the cellular phone used to make the calls. Alcohol is suspected to have been involved.
Mr. Henry has been charged with three counts of Intimidation (F3) and Aggravated Menacing (M1). He is currently being held at the Crawford County Justice Center.
