On March 20th,, MARMET/METRICH Detectives served a search warrant at a Chicago Avenue home, resulting in the recovery of Fentanyl, cash and scales. Detectives arrested Brandon Kairis age 24 of Marion as a result of that investigation. See MARMET/METRICH press release from March 21st for additional details.
MARMET Detectives continued to work this investigation on March 23rd, 2020 and served an additional search warrant in the 400 block of N. Prospect Street. As a result of that search warrant, Detectives were led to a residence on Ballentine Avenue where investigators recovered $20,047 in cash, a drug press and a 2013 Chevrolet related to the initial Kairis investigation.
