The Union County Sheriff’s Office has a new feature for the iPhone and Android mobile Sheriffs’ app which will provide the public direct alerts on the COVID-19.This feature has replaced the “where are you” on our mobile app, it will provide CDC Alerts and COVID-19 Local News which will come directly from our partners at the Union County Health Department.To ensure you are getting up-to-date information turn on the CDC Alert notifications, step-by-step instructions are attached.
“We created this new mobile app in early 2019 as a service to our county”, said Sheriff Patton.The ability to share updates on the COVID-19 is a very important and critical task, so please encourage every resident and business owner to download the app today.
