As a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19) many state and local agencies have adjusted operations to reduce exposure to the virus. Following CDC guidance the Marion Area Counseling Center (MACC) has made some adjustments to our current procedures.
MACC recognizes that it plays a vital role in the healthcare system of Marion and that the services we provide are essential to our community. Our priority is to continue to provide treatment services to our clients while creating a safe environment for both our clients and staff. Effective March 23, 2020, our adjusted hours will be: Monday - Thursday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm with all services. We will be closed on Friday.
We have implemented a stringent cleaning and disinfectant protocol to ensure our agency provides a safe environment. We will be limiting exposure by asking that only those seeking services come to the agency for their appointment. Non-clients such as family members, friends or drivers that are not required to be present for the appointment are asked to not enter the building. Please understand this stringent protocol is required to minimize the spread of disease and maximize social distancing.
We understand that these are challenging times and that some clients may be concerned about potential exposure to COVID-19. This includes those who may be at high risk or have underlying conditions that may make it unsafe for them to leave their home. If this is the case, please call the office as during this pandemic crisis we have other appointment options available.
MACC is dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for our clients and staff. As always, those in crisis can reach someone 24/7 at Pathways of Central Ohio by calling (740)383-2273.

Sincerely,
MACC Administration
