Kelly Mackay was sworn in as the newest member of the Marion City School District Board of Education during the organizational meeting January 6. She was elected to serve by the Marion community during the November 2019 election.
Mackay’s prior stint as a board member included serving as President and Vice-President. Her previous term also saw district voters approve a bond issue that built 3 new elementary schools, a new Harding High School and renovated Grant, Harrison, Hayes and George Washington.
