The City of Marion is announcing the following closures and modifications in operational schedules for City Offices for the Christmas and New Year’s holiday weeks:
All offices in City Hall will be closed on December 25 and January 1st.
Sanitation collection will not take place on December 25 or January 1st. Sanitation crews will also begin collecting live Christmas trees on December 26 and continue tree collection through the month of January.
Marion Area Transit buses will operate on a shortened schedule on December 24th and will be closed on December 25 and January 1.
Marion Senior Center will be closed on December 24, December 25, December 31, and January 1. Transportation will be available for dialysis patients only on these days.
