Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities Superintendent Cheryl Plaster and MCBDD board chair Karime Hord met with the Marion County Commissioners last week asking the Marion County Commissioners to reconsider not placing the MCBDD levy on the March 2020 ballot. Plaster received an email from the commissioners on December 9 which stated that the MCBDD's request was being denied. The MCBDD levy has failed 13 times.
