Columbus Man Has Charges Filed Against Him For Marion Home Robbery

A Columbus man suspected in a home robbery in Marion. Has had charges filed against him. Twenty-three-year-old Jovan Durr, along with others, is accused of forcing his way into a house at 247 Edwards Street that happened on August 14th and then robbing the place. According to an affidavit, the intruders allegedly taped and bound the hands and feet of two people in the house and pointed a gun at one of their heads. At one point, one of the captors broke free, got a gun and started shooting at the intruders. Among the items stolen were firearms and a cell phone. Durr was indicted Wednesday on the five high-level felony offenses, including one count of aggravated robbery.
