A man from Carey has been sentenced to 30 months in prison. On September 3rd , Twenty-three-year-old William T. McMahon, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of burglary and abduction. He also has a third charge of disrupting a public service that was dismissed. McMahon was arrested on April 11th on an original charge of aggravated burglary. McMahon is ordered to pay $800 in restitution towards his victim and was ordered to will have a mandatory three years of post-release control following his release from prison.
