A long time business in Marion will close its doors at the end of August. Serves Electronics has been in business since 1947. Started by Charlie Sens who started out making TV antennas in his father's grocery. At one time Servex had stores in Findlay, Sandusky, Mansfield, Tiffin, Delaware, Mount Vernon, Marion, Wooster, and Fremont.
In February, Greg Sens who took over the family business in 1977, sold the Servex Center in Marion to J&V Hospitality, Inc. of Newport News, Virginia. The Sens family still owns shopping centers in Mansfield, Findlay, and Sandusky,
