The Ohio State Fair is set to open its gates today with a completely new layout of its midway. Fair officials said yesterday the majority of the 78 rides at the fair this year would also be new to regular fair-goers. The fair is using Talley Amusements as a vendor for the first time this year with a 108-foot tall Ferris Wheel and a 200-foot long slide as the main attractions. Fair managers warned guests to be aware of the new midway layout since many families use rides like the giant Ferris Wheel as a landmark for meet-ups.
