Galion Woman Pleads Guilty To Drug Related Charges

A 46 year-old Galion woman plead guilty to several drug-related charges in Crawford County Common Pleas Court. Amy Daniels, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of drugs, each punishable with up to 12 months in prison and one count of conveyance of drugs into a detention facility, that could get her up to 36 months in prison.

Daniels told Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold, that she was high when she went in and didn't know what she had on her.

Daniels will spend a total of 59 months in prison. She was ordered to forfeit all drug-related property to the appropriate law enforcement agency She must serve at least 18 months before she becomes eligible for judicial release.
