Friends and family are remembering Brittany McDowell who was found in a shallow grave last week at Alum Creek State Park. A candlelight vigil was held last night at Gantz Park in Grove City where friends and family shared memories and wore pink in her honor. McDowell was discovered last Thursday off of State Route 36/U.S.-37 on the east side of the bridge over the reservoir. McDowell had a criminal record with arrests for solicitation and investigators say her death is being treated as a homicide.
