A new pilot program for Ohio Department of Motor Vehicle announced Monday. It's a new virtual queuing system for Ohio drivers who visit deputy registrars. The new system when online it allows customers to get in line without physically waiting in the office. After checking in online, customers have a four-hour window to arrive at the deputy registrar location, check in at a self-service kiosk, and claim their spot in line. The system in not yet available in the Marion area. If the system is found successful, it could expand to other deputy registrars.
Drivers can access the queuing system by visiting bmv.ohio.gov.
