On February 7th, a deputy stopped a car for not having a working license plate light. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 28-year old Daniel McKinney. The deputy suspected there might have been drugs in the vehicle and a K-9 conducted a search. Which led to a seizure of 50 grams of cocaine, 7.5 grams of fentanyl, and over $1100 in cash. There is now an active warrant for McKinney for trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in fentanyl and 2 counts of possession of cocaine.
Daniel McKinney’s last known address was 323 Willow Street in Marion. McKinney is a 28-year old, white male with brown hair and green eyes. McKinney has a slim build and is 5’08” tall weighing 130 pounds.
