In October of 2018, Ron Johnson was diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease). Since diagnosis, the disease has progressed aggressively. Resulting in increased difficulty when walking, working with his hands, and speaking. Ron devoted his life to caring for others by always putting them first. This disease has forced him into an early retirement from Dublin Methodist Hospital, where he supported patients as they recovered from surgeries. In any moment he had to spare outside of work, he gave his time to leading and coaching the next generation by working with kids as they developed. Because of the unforgiving disease, Ron and his family are facing some lifestyle changes that come with expenses. His immediate needs are his wheelchair with additional features outside of what insurance "deems" necessary to cover along with a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
They want to invite ANYONE and EVERYONE out to their event to help give back to Ron for everything he has given to those around him. Modern Woodmen of America has guaranteed a match up to $1,000!
This event will involve many Raffle Prizes, 50/50 and, of course, a CrossFit style WOD to honor his strength. The workout is adaptable for all levels of skill, scalable for no limitations.

Doors open at 9:30 am with the first heat of the WOD beginning at 10:00am.
