The La Rue Firefighters Assoc. along with the La Rue Community Alliance(LCA) and the Village of La Rue will be hosting a 2 day event with food vendors, car show, 5k run, pancake breakfast, live music, and a beer garden. The event will be June 7th and 8th. This is a family event with fun for all ages. The overall purpose of the event is to bring attention to Village and allow for gathering of people to have fun and see what La Rue has to offer. The 5k will be sponsored and ran by The National Pancreas Foundation with proceeds of the race going to the research of treatment of pancreatic disorders. There will be several food and craft vendors at the festival as well. The La Rue Firefighters will be running the pancake breakfast, beer garden as well as entertainment for Sat Night.
