Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Suspected In Death Of Family And Dogs In Delaware

Officials say carbon monoxide poisoning may be the cause of death after a family of four and three dogs were found dead inside a home in Delaware County. The bodies were found yesterday morning at a home on Lewis Center Road after a family member asked the police to conduct a well-being check. First responders say they encountered elevated levels of carbon monoxide at the residence which was heated by propane and not serviced by Columbia Gas. Investigators say the bodies have been sent to the Coroner's office for autopsy.
