Person Killed After One Vehicle Crash In Marion County

Troopers from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash. That happened on County Road 106 (Somerlot Hoffman Road) around 9:15 p.m. Saturday (March 23).

Timothy W. Cobb, was driving eastbound on CR-106 and drove off the north side of the roadway. His vehicle then then struck a field access drive, a ditch and rolled over several times.

According to Troopers, Cobb was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Cobb was taken to Marion General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
