Dr. Gregory Rose has been dean and director for Ohio State Marion since 2004. He began his teaching career in 1982 as assistant professor of geography at Marion, served as associate dean of the Marion campus from 1994 to 2003, and interim dean and director from 2003 to 2004.
Dr. Rose earned his master’s and doctorate degrees at Michigan State University and his bachelor’s degrees in geography and history from Valparaiso University in Indiana.
He serves or has served as the regional campus representative on various university committees, such as Senate Fiscal, Health Plan Oversight, and University Teacher Education Council, and is on the board of United Way of Marion County.
