Officials in Marion County are looking for the person or person responsible for a fake 911 call which caused Ridgedale Local Schools to go on lockdown. According to reports, a call came into law enforcement yesterday morning from someone claiming to be holding their mother hostage and killing their father. Authorities responded to the address given by the caller to find they were dealing with a swatting incident which is a form of harassment where a fake call is made in order to have a SWAT team dispatched as a prank or worse. Deputies are now working to identify the caller who if found could face charges of inducing panic and filing a false report.
