Marion Prison Staff Released After Suspected Fentanyl Exposure

Three staff members at the Marion Correctional Institution are recovering after being exposed to a substance suspected of being fentanyl.   It happened yesterday afternoon when Marion EMS were called to the prison after complaints from staff of weakness and nausea.  Emergency responders treated the victims with naloxone and transported them to Marion General Hospital where they were later released.  The Ohio Department of Corrections is now conducting an investigation into the incident.
