Philip Galvin Middleton, age 60 of Marion, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Marion General Hospital.
Philip entered into this world on June 29, 1958 to John and Ludie (Jackson) Middleton in Marion, OH.
He worked for Office City in Delivery for 30 years and then worked at Pet Zone for 10 years.
Philip was a devoted caregiver to his father who suffers from dementia. He enjoyed raising many different “critters” like frogs, snakes, lizards, and other animals. Philip will be missed by his family and friends.
Philip was preceded in death by his mother: Ludie Middleton.
Those who will cherish his memory are his father: John Middleton of Marion, OH; his daughter: Sabrina (Scotty) Corbin of Marion, OH; his son: Matt Middleton of Prospect, OH; his sisters: Norma (Bill) Combow of Whitehouse, TN and Linda (Douglas) Eader of Venice, FL; his grandchildren whom he adored: Trey, Malachi, Fayth, Xavier and Breyah.
Friends and family may come to honor Philip’s life on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 starting at 10 am to 12 pm at the Richland Road Church of Christ, 525 Richland Road, Marion, OH, 43302. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 starting at 12pm at the church. Burial will follow service at the Marion Cemetery. As young child, Philip’s passionate love of animals never wavered so the family would like donations to be given in his memory to the Marion Area Humane Society.
