Rob joined Wyandot as President and CEO in November 2015 and the Board of Directors in March of 2016. He graduated A.B. Cum Laude from Harvard College with a degree in Social Studies. He has spent over 20 years working with food & beverage businesses, utilizing focused growth strategies, best practices, and operational improvements to drive increased sales, improve profitability, and create significant shareholder value.
He serves as 2nd Vice Chairman of SNAC International (formerly Snack Food Association,) the leading international trade association for the snack industry. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Fostoria, OH based Mennel Milling Company, one of the nation’s leading milling companies.
Before joining Wyandot, Rob was a Managing Member of Food Strategies, LLC, a consultant to small and mid-sized food & beverage companies and private equity firms with interest in the space; Chairman of the Board of Alco Stores, Inc., a 200 store general merchandise retail chain; and spent almost half a decade with John B. Sanfilippo & Sons, Inc. (Nasdaq:JBSS), one of the largest nut processors in the world with over $800 million in sales. Prior to JBSS he was a senior advisor, dealmaker and capital provider to domestic and international food and beverage businesses with several firms, most notably Rabobank, one of the largest financial institutions dedicated to the global food, beverage and agribusiness space.
