Howard has been the president of the Wilson Bohannan Lock Company since 1995. This company started in 1860 Brooklyn, New York by Howard’s wife’s great great grandfather, Wilson Bohannan. Her grandfather, Wilson Tway, brought the company to Marion, Ohio in 1926. Howard was born in Dayton, Ohio and met his wife Pam Norris Smith at Hillsdale College. They graduated together in 1968 and Howard spent the next four years in the US Coast Guard. They moved to Marion in 1973 where he started in the Wilson Bohannan Company’s accounting department. Howard has his MBA from Ashland University and is involved in numerous local philanthropic projects around our community. Howard has two daughters and three grandchildren. Wilson Bohannan Lock Company is a 7th generation family owned business where the entire family works including his daughters and two son-in-laws. The padlocks and locking devices WB produces are 100% American made and are used all over the world.
