Incumbent Ray Grogan defeated his competitor Jennifer Croskey, in a tight race for republican candidate for Marion County prosecutor. Grogan edged out Croskey, with about 52% of the vote. He will go on to face local defense attorney Democrat Jeff Ratliff, in November's general election.Tracy Richardson won the Republican primary for Ohio's 86th House District. Richardson will go on to compete against Glenn Coble in the fall election.Most of the candidates in local races ran unopposed, including candidates for Marion County commissioner, common pleas court judges and auditor. Around 7,500 Marion County residents voted in the primary.
