Marion Man Indicted For Shooting Man In The Buttocks

A Marion County man has been indicted on felony assault charges, accused of shooting a man in the buttocks. Connor Correa, of 426 Forest Lawn Blvd in Marion, was indicted Wednesday, on two counts of felonious assault, both second-degree felonies. A three year firearm specification was added to both counts.According to witnesses Correa shot 28-year-old Andrew Gregory, April 28 following an argument over the phone.  The argument turned into a fist fight on Forrest Lawn Boulevard. According to an affidavit the fight involved more than one person.  The victim said that Correa tried to shoot him in the face, but ended up shooting him from behind. Correa is currently being held in the Multi-County Correctional Center. With a bond set at $500,000.
