Shawn Grate Pleading Guilty On 15 Of 23 Charges

Accused serial killer Shawn Grate is changing his plea.  In court yesterday, the 41-year-old withdrew his not guilty plea and now wants to plead guilty to 15 charges of kidnapping, rape, burglary and abuse of a corpse.  These charges stem from Grate kidnapping his victim in September 2016 and raping her multiple times.  The victim was able to escape and call 9-1-1. The defendant faces at least 50-years in prison and could be sentenced to life behind bars on the charges he pled guilty to yesterday.    Eight other charges, including aggravated murder, are still proceeding in court.  Grate's accused of killing Stacey Stanley and Elizabeth Griffith.  He faces the death penalty on these charges.  Both the prosecution and defense rested their cases and closing arguments are scheduled to begin Monday.
