State Trooper Charged In Drug Trafficking Case

A State Highway Patrol trooper is among a half-dozen people charged in a central Ohio drug trafficking ring.  Jason Delcol was indicted yesterday in federal court on possession, conspiracy and witness tampering charges.  Prosecutors say Delcol provided Delaware County men with information, alibis and ballistic vests while sometimes moving drugs between suspects.  Highway Patrol officials say Delcol was fired upon learning of the indictment.
