Two New Officers Sworn In By The Marion Police Department

Two new Marion Police Department officers were sworn in yesterday.  Officers Mason Bischoff and Faith Combs were sworn in Monday morning followed by an official presentation of their MPD badges by Chief Bill Collins.  Mason Bischoff is a Marysville native, U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of the Marion Technical College Law Enforcement Academy. Mason previously worked as a part-time Deputy with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Faith Combs is a Marion Native and comes  from the United States Postal Service. Faith will begin her law enforcement career by attending the Ohio Highway Patrol Basic Police Academy beginning at the end of January. Following the hiring of these two officers, the Marion Police Department is currently staffed at 52 officers.
